違法民泊施設問題で場当たり的な対応を繰り返すエアビーアンドビーは21日、新たなコメント「住宅宿泊事業法施行後1週間を経て 」を発表した。内容は以下の通り。
Airbnbは、住宅宿泊事業法を遵守しており、定期的に、観光庁に対し、掲載されているリスティングの情報を法令に従い開示する必要がございます。なお、届出番号その他の許認可が正確ではないリスティングについて削除のご要請が観光庁よりあった場合は、Airbnbプラットフォームから速やかに削除してまいります。
Airbnbは、違法な物件の撲滅に力を入れてまいります。
国内物件をAirbnbに掲載するホストは、各物件に届出番号その他の許認可の「正確」な情報を記入する必要があります。
ミートアップや登録番号を受け取っていないすべてのホストへ向けて電話でのフォローをし、ガイダンスやサポートを実施しています。
様々な専門企業とのパートナーシップを通じて、ホストに、複雑な登録プロセスを完了させ、法律に準拠していることを確認するために必要なガイダンス、法的アドバイス、およびその他のサポートサービスを提供しています。

Airbnb is fully compliant with the law and like other platforms operating in Japan, we are required to share listing information with the JTA on a periodic basis, as required under the law. If the JTA makes us aware of any listings with inaccurate registration details, we will remove them immediately.
We are also working hard to remove listings that do not appear to have a legitimate registration number.
Hosts must enter accurate listing information under the law. We have taken a number of steps to ensure our hosts are aware of their obligations, including but not limited to:
・We have hosted educational meetups in multiple cities nationwide to help
hosts understand their obligations under the law.
・Personally calling every host who has not received their registration number
to offer guidance and personalized support.
・Through our partnership with various specialised firms, we are giving hosts
the guidance, legal advice, and other support services they need to complete
the complicated registration process and ensure they are compliant with the law.
・Providing guidance via a detailed FAQ page that reminds people of their
obligations and includes additional information and resources on how to register.
